Station buildings on the Manila-Dagupan Line such Apalit were brick structures.
The building was remodelled in 1930-1931, the bricks were paved with concrete with stipple exterior, similar to San Carlos station.
Passenger shelter columns similar to those at Cabanatuan were erected in addition to the existing structure.
The platforms and tracks were raised in 1938 against flood.
When the Manila-Dagupan Line was inaugurated in 1892, trains from Manila passed Apalit only in 1894 after the completion of the Rio Grande de Pampanga Bridge.
