Blumentritt is a station situated on the the Manila-Legazpi Line, Antipolo Line and LRT Line 1. It serves the vicinity of Blumentritt in Sampaloc, Manila
Blumentritt was opened on December 22, 1905 as San Lazaro when the the first section of the Antipolo Railroad extension from Manila to Pasig was opened.
The then LRTA operated "Metrorail" Line 1 station was opened on May 12, 1984, since the existence of the line, the PNR station was renamed Blumentritt although it still bears the name San Lazaro in some boards.
The PNR platforms were slightly relocated west of the original station in 1990 during its rehabilitation for Metrotren services, the station was reverted back to its original location with newly raised platforms thus making it closer to LRT Line 1. The platforms and roof are currently being extended for loco hauled services such as 202/203 EMUs for the commuter services and the soon to be revived Bicol Express.
- Blumentritt station appeared in two of FPJ's films namely: "Iyo ang Tondo Kanya ang Cavite" (1986) and "Walang Matigas na Tinapay sa Mainit na Kape" (1994).
- The 1934 San Lazaro station shelter survived the WWII and the the invading of the informal settlers during the 1990s until it was demolished during the rehabilitation of the PNR South line in 2008, the only left was the platform which was constructed in 1990 (MetroTren era) beside the old station, the old platform was raised in 2016 as part of the station redevelopment.
- Aside from LRT, Blumentritt station previously connects a defunct tramline to Manila North Cemetery via Rizal Ave. and Blumentritt St.
