Mamatid is a station serving the vicinity of Brgy. Mamatid and Brgy. Banlic in Cabuyao, Laguna. It is situated on the Manila-Legazpi Line and the defunct Canlubang Line.
History
Mamatid was opened on January 24, 1909.
Informations
- The new station building and platforms were built at the opposite side of the old station, the original wooden structure was dismantled as part of the clearing operations.
Accidents
On March 13, 1924, the 8 cars of a northbound loaded sugar cane train from Canlubang near Mamatid station parted and rolled back until it was derailed on the nearby San Cristobal bridge damaging 3 of the cars and the bridge itself.
