Mamatid is a station serving the vicinity of Brgy. Mamatid and Brgy. Banlic in Cabuyao, Laguna. It is situated on the Manila-Legazpi Line and the defunct Canlubang Line.
History[]
Mamatid was opened on January 24, 1909.
Informations[]
- The new station building and platforms were built at the opposite side of the old station, the original wooden station was destroyed by Typhoon Glenda in 2014.
Accidents[]
On March 13, 1924, the 8 cars of a northbound loaded sugar cane train from Canlubang near Mamatid station parted and rolled back until it was derailed on the nearby San Cristobal bridge damaging 3 of the cars and the bridge itself.
