Originally located on the Manila Belt Line, Pandacan was opened on March 25, 1908,  a spur line connecting Pandacan Oil Depot up to the Isla de Provisor via Santibañez was built later.

The station was rebuilt in 2009 as part the Northrail-Southrail Linkage Project.

Informations

  • Pandacan was part of the Manila Belt Line, a line connecting the Antipolo Line at Santa Mesa station with Paco station on the Cavite Line.
  • For unknown reasons, no one complained when the original Pandacan station building was demolished around 2008 to give way for a new one that opened a year later, due to the lowness of the platform that needed stairs door by door.
  • The Keeper's Hut at Inviernes Crossing between Pandacan and Paco stations somewhat possess a mystery since every attempt to demolish it always gets interrupted.
