Port Ragay is a railroad station serving Port Ragay in Ragay, Camarines Sur. It was the endpoint of the Ragay
Extension Port Ragay Line.
History[]
Port Ragay was opened on August 28, 1933 to serve the passengers of steamship services from Aloneros.
The branch line ceased operations after the completion of the Manila-Legazpi Line in 1938.
Informations[]
- Port Ragay Station was the endpoint (and last station) of the Ragay Extension from Port Junction of the Legazpi Division Line before it was merged with the Main Line South to form the Manila-Legazpi Line.
- Some parts of the wharf still exists today, althought its slowly crumbing away, the status of the station's rubble stone pillars are unknown.
